LBI brings years of experience working along the CT shoreline for satisfied clients, so satisfied that they have used her to decorate multiple spaces including second homes from Maine to Florida.
Her design philosophy is that a home or workspace should be well dressed and functional. In addition, it should be comfortable, beautiful, and reflect the people who spend time there. It should be a sanctuary, calming and personal. Her clients have learned to trust that their space will be transformed with ease and flair to a welcoming environment that has broad appeal, but is unique.
Linda solves problems, and respects budgets, calling upon a fleet of outstanding craftspeople and other professionals and resources to execute her ideas. She is equally at home with wonderful antiques, and contemporary trends. Clients frequently say, “Linda makes it easy”. She is a skilled colorist and space planner.
In addition to homes, Linda has been the head designer at the Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club, Mohun Hall and Chapel renovations at Albertus Magnus College, Algonquin Industries Reception area, offices, etc., among others.
She earned a BA from Albertus Magnus College, and pursued a graduate program there in Interior Design. She is has been a board member of IDS, and a long standing member of ABT. In addition to years in the design field, she has served on many boards in her community, and brings a background as an educator and experience in fashion and cosmetics to her ability to assess a client’s needs and the beauty of the home.
