This living room lacked privacy, and warmth and did not reflect the homeowner’s heritage and style.
This space was created for casual chic living where the family could entertain friends, and family could hang out. Inspired by the hues of summer time at the beach, the color of sand and water were incorporated into the room to create a relaxing environment.
A large geometric wool rug anchors the space adding texture and warmth. Two sofas and a few chairs for seating along with storage were added to the room. A wet bar and wine fridge for entertaining was added. New Window coverings allow light to filter in but also add privacy at night.
Details were given to a game table in the corner with custom upholstery and coordinating pillows on the sofa to tie the room together. Black marble tables on chrome bases and mercury lamps added a pop of chic to the space and two espresso sofa tables with creative bases bring in an elm of unexpected beauty. The Barcelona brown leather chair adds to the chic feel. Fun artwork and pieces collected over time round out this space.

By adding custom window treatments, a larger area rug, a new coffee table, leather chairs and a couple of poufs
a new hang out area with a conversation pit was born.
We addressed lighting as well as dressing the walls with meaningful photos and a batiked artwork that had been a wedding gift.
